Company History

Universal Ophthalmic Instruments, Inc. was organized in 1982. The officers of the company Terry Ulrich, President and Jim Miller, Executive Vice President have over 80 years of combined experience in the ophthalmic industry.

Universal Ophthalmic Instruments, Inc. is a distributor of ophthalmic equipment, instruments and supplies. Our four conveniently located offices provide quality products to private practices and institutions throughout the Southwest.

Universal Ophthalmic Instruments, Inc is licensed by the State of Texas and holds current licenses for new and pre-owned equipment.

Our experienced staff of Certified Service Engineers receives continuing education so that we can provide our customers with quality service on the newest products available from the manufacturers.
