LANE CARE


Keeping your equipment in proper working condition is important for you and your patients.  We recommend a maintenance schedule of at least once 
a year.
 
 


The following list will inform you
of what a lane care consists of:

Ophthalmic Exam Chair

Adjust and lubricate locks, arms bearings, arm locks and headrest locks as necessary. Check fluid levels, voltage and circuitry and make necessary adjustments. Polish and clean surface area.

Instrument Stand

Clean, lubricate and adjust all arms, bearings and locking assemblies and make necessary adjustments. Check all instrument wells for correct voltage.

Refractor / Phoroptor

Disassemble, clean, lubricate and adjust to factory standards.

Slit Lamp

Clean optics, mirror and reflectors. Align illumination and focal path. Check voltage and circuitry. Clean, lubricate and adjust bearings and gears as necessary.

Tonometer

Check alignment and calibration. Clean and inspect tonometer tip.

Project-O-Chart

Clean and align optics. Check calibration and electrical circuitry and repair as necessary.

Direct Ophthalmoscope

Clean and align optics. Check illumination and adjust as necessary. (One per lane)

Retinoscope

Clean and align optics. Check battery for proper charge.

Ophthalmoscope (BIO)

Clean reflector and optics. Align illumination and focal path, check and / or adjust voltage and circuitry. (One per lane)
